What is a Driveway Sealcoating?

Driveway sealcoating is a GREAT way to preserve your parking lot or driveway. If you have an asphalt driveway, a sealer can be applied on top of your driveway to insulate it from ice, water and car fluids. The driveway resealing will also protect your driveway from the sun, salt and chemicals that could damage the asphalt. You might need to have your driveway sealed more often, depending on where you are located.
You should be able to seal your driveway once every three to four years for a residential drive and every 2-3 for a commercial lot. You need to wait at least three months after your driveway has been installed because it needs time to cure before you can seal it.
